Welcome to my blog: Masters of Their Stories
We all have stories to tell, and we cross paths with people who impact and inspire us to become the best version of ourselves on our life journey.
Over the years, I have heard the expression, “You are the author of the book of your life.” Am I? Sometimes, I felt that my story was written or decided by someone else, and I was just another character in my book of life. Some people have shaped my values, principles, and perceptions and guided me on the right path, living my life in the light where I feel empowered. Some have derailed me from my dreams or hopes and dragged me into the darkest place of my spirit, where I feel lost and deceived.
Without the people who have crossed my path, I would not have been the person I am, and I would not have written so many chapters in my book of life. I am grateful to continue writing more chapters, meet new people, and create new experiences. So far, I have learned that the only way to master my story is to live purposely and be of service to something greater than me.
My purpose with this blog is to create a space for women who have inspired me to share their stories of successes, failures, fears, challenges and courage to go after their dreams. They have put their mind, heart and soul into everything they do and are the masters of their stories.
“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson
Our story is important because we all matter.
I invite you to read and be inspired by their stories.
